Anti-Pax2 antibody - ChIP Grade (ab23799) at 2.5 µg/ml + Fetal kidney lysate

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of human kidney tissue labelling Pax2 with ab23799 at a concentration of 4-8µg/ml. The arrows indicate the positively labelled cells, epithelial cells of the renal tube.

The human ovarian carcinoma cell line OVCA429 was used with ab23799 in ICC/IF. The cells were fixed in paraformaldehyde. Blocking was in 5% serum for 1 hour. The primary antibody was incubated at a dilution of 1/250 for one hour. Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) only worked with 3% paraformaldehyde/2% sucrose fixation. When 70% methanol/30% acetone fixation was tried non-specific cytoplasmic staining was seen. In the left hand panel staining with DAPI is shown, and in the right staining with the ab23799 antibody.
