Human PBMCs were cultured in RPMI supplemented with 10% fetal calf serum, 2mM L-glutamine, 100 U/mL penicillin, and 100 µg/mL streptomycin. Cells were cultured for 2 days at 37⁰C. The concentrations of Eotaxin-2 were interpolated from the calibration curve in Sample Diluent NS and corrected for sample dilution. The mean Eotaxin-2 concentration was not detectable in RPMI media and it was present at 700pg/mL in PBMC conditioned supernatants.
