Using the ERK 1/2 assay kits, a significant reduction of ERK 1/2 phosphorylation at Thr202/Tyr204 is detected in A431 cells treated with AG1478 for 3 hours compared with untreated cells, while only a small change in total ERK levels is observed.
Using the p38 MAPK assay kits, a significant stimulation of p38 MAPK phosphorylation at Thr180/Tyr182 is detected in HEK293 cells treated with anisomycin for 30 minutes compared with untreated cells, while no change in total p38 MAPK levels is observed.
