Neat serum samples from 10 apparently healthy male donors (1M – 10M) were measured in triplicates using this kit. Interpolated data values are graphed in pg of IL-16 per mL of serum (mean +/- SD, n=3). The mean of IL-16 concentration of these serum samples was determined to be 75.7 pg/mL with a range of 48.7 – 122.9 pg/mL.
PBMC were grown in the absence or presence of phytohemagglutinin (PHA) for 48 hours. IL-16 concentrations were measured in neat and 2 X diluted cell culture supernatants of the unstimulated PBMC and the stimulated PBMC, and 10F RPMI1640 media. Raw data values (mean +/-SD, n=2) are graphed. The dotted line represents Blank control.
