• Description: Potent adenosine A 2B receptor agonist (EC 50 = 2.83 nM for murine A 2B receptor). Displays selectivity for A 2B over A 1 , A 2A and A 3 receptors. Decreases fMLP-induced superoxide production in neutrophils at low concentrations (1-10 nM). Cardioprotective; attenuates infarct size in a mouse model of myocardial ischemia.
