| Description | Selective inhibitor of integrin α 2 β 1 (EC 50 = 130 nM for α 2 β 1 binding to collagen I). Binds to the α 2 I domain. Exhibits selectivity for α 2 β 1 over integrins α 3 β 1 , α 4 β 1 , α 5 β 1 and α v . Inhibits platelet aggregation to collagen I coated capillaries under flow. Also inhibits binding of α 2 -expressing CHO cells to collagen I under shear stress conditions. |
