• Description: Long-acting, centrally active acetylcholinesterase inhibitor (IC 50 = 410 nM) and allosteric potentiator at neuronal nicotinic ACh receptors. Long-term administration reduces amyloid precursor protein deposition and neurodegeneration in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease.
