Description Potent and selective κ -opioid DREADD (KORD) activator (EC 50 = 11.8 nM). Selective for KORD over endogenous κ opioid receptor and a range of other related targets. Exhibits no analgesic or ataxic effects in wild type mice. Induces neuronal hyperpolarization, and modifies locomotor activity and feeding behavior in KORD-expressing mouse models. Brain penetrant. Metabolite of salvinorin A (Cat. No. 2134).
