• Description: Selective inhibitor of I κ B kinase (IKK) (IC 50 values are 40, 70 and 200 nM for IKK β , IKK complex and IKK α respectively). Inhibits TNF- α -stimulated I κ B degradation and expression of adhesion molecules E-selectin, ICAM and VCAM (IC 50 values are 1.0, 0.5, 0.3 and 0.3 μ M respectively). Inhibits LPS-induced TNF- α release in vivo and neutrophil extravasion in thioglycollate-induced peritonitis.
