Selective for K V 1.3 over other mammalian potassium channels (IC 50 values are 23, 1800, 10500, 37000 and 39000 pM for mK V 1.3, mK V 1.1, hK V 1.6, mK V 1.4 and rK V 1.2 respectively, and >100000 pM for hK V 1.5, mK V 1.7, hK V 3.1, rK V 3.4 and hK Ca 4). Suppresses T cell activation in vitro (IC 50 < 500 pM).
