SEE ALSO...

TIF1γ Antibody (XX-19) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TIF1γ protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TIF1γ antibody (XX-19) is available as the non-conjugated form. TIF1γ protein plays a crucial role in mediating transcriptional regulation, particularly in response to transforming growth factor beta (TGFβ) signaling. TIF1γ protein interacts with Smad2/3 transcription factors, which are pivotal in TGFβ signaling pathway, influencing various cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. TIF1γ protein′s ability to modulate these transcriptional effects is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental cues. TIF1γ protein is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family, characterized by unique structural features, including three zinc-binding domains and a coiled-coil region, which facilitate interactions with other proteins and DNA. Understanding TIF1γ protein function and interactions is vital for elucidating its role in various biological processes and disease implications, making TIF1γ (XX-19) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying transcriptional regulation and TGFβ signaling pathways.

Can sc-101179: TIF1γ (XX-19) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-101179: TIF1γ (XX-19) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
