    SEE ALSO...

PLEKHN1 Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PLEKHN1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PLEKHN1 (D-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PLEKHN1, or pleckstrin homology domain containing, family N member 1, is a 663 amino acid phosphoprotein characterized by the presence of two pleckstrin homology (PH) domains, which are crucial for its role in cellular signaling and membrane trafficking. PLEKHN1 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm and is involved in various cellular processes, including cytoskeletal organization and cell signaling pathways. Proper functioning of PLEKHN1 is essential for maintaining cellular integrity and communication, and dysregulation has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. PLEKHN1 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 1p36.33, a region associated with numerous genetic disorders and diseases, highlighting the significance of studying PLEKHN1 in human health and disease.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390657 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
