c-Fms/CSF-1R Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects c-Fms/CSF-1R of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). c-Fms/CSF-1R (B-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. c-Fms/CSF-1R, also known as macrophage colony-stimulating factor receptor (M-CSFR), plays a crucial role in the immune system as a transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor essential for myeloid cell growth and differentiation. c-Fms/CSF-1R is primarily expressed in mononuclear phagocytes, oocytes, decidual cells, trophoblastic cells, and certain myoblasts, highlighting importance in both hematopoiesis and reproductive biology. Activation by macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF) triggers signaling events that regulate monocyte and macrophage proliferation and differentiation, which are vital for immune responses and tissue homeostasis. c-Fms/CSF-1R also mediates inflammatory responses, influences pro-inflammatory cytokine release from macrophages, and plays a significant role in inflammatory disease pathophysiology.
