    SEE ALSO...

BAZ1A Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects BAZ1A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BAZ1A Antibody (D-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BAZ1A, also known as bromodomain adjacent to zinc finger domain 1A, plays a crucial role in chromatin remodeling, which is essential for regulating gene expression and maintaining genomic stability. BAZ1A is a 1,556 amino acid nuclear protein that is highly expressed in the testis and features several conserved domains, including a bromo domain, a DDT domain, a PHD-type zinc finger, and a WAC motif. BAZ1A is a key component of chromatin remodeling complexes, particularly the ISWI family, and interacts with other proteins such as hSNF2H to facilitate the dynamic restructuring of chromatin. This remodeling is vital for processes such as transcriptional regulation and the formation of heterochromatin, which are critical for developmental control and cellular differentiation. BAZ1A′s ability to modulate chromatin structure underscores its importance in various biological processes, making anti-BAZ1A antibody (D-5) an invaluable tool for researchers studying gene regulation and chromatin dynamics.
