I have a truncated Bax (36-129) prurified protein, can it be detected by this antibody (Bax N20)?

Thank you for your question. Bax Antibody (N-20): sc-493 is specific against an epitope mapping at the N-terminus of Bax of human origin. If your purified protein contains this region then the antibody will be able to detect it. We strongly recommend using one of our excellent monoclonal Bax antibodies instead though. Almost all of those antibodies have a known epitope.
