BIN3 Antibody (C-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects BIN3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BIN3 (C-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Bridging Integrator 3 (BIN3) protein, consisting of 253 amino acids, plays a crucial role in cellular processes by integrating signal transduction pathways that regulate nuclear functions and influence the dynamics of the F-Actin cytoskeleton and membrane. BIN3 contains a BAR domain, which is essential for sensing and inducing membrane curvature at endocytic sites, as well as binding to small GTPases, thereby impacting transcriptional repression. The gene encoding BIN3 is located in a region associated with cancer suppression, frequently deleted in non-Hodgkin′s lymphomas and various epithelial tumors, highlighting BIN3′s potential significance in cancer biology. The yeast homolog of BIN3 has been implicated in critical cellular functions such as vesicle trafficking, cell polarity, cytokinesis, and F-Actin organization. Two isoforms of BIN3 arise from alternative splicing events, which may contribute to BIN3′s diverse functional roles in different cellular contexts.
