Gene Information

rabbit ... HDAC1(3065)

Immunogen

The epitope recognized by PLA0134 maps to region between residue 425 and the C-terminus (residue 482) of human Histone Deacetylase 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_004955.2 (GeneID 3065).

Physical form

Tris-buffered Saline containing 0.1% BSA containing 0.09% Sodium Azide

Other Notes

Histone deacetylase 1 (HDAC1) is a class I histone deacetylase that catalyzes the removal of the acetyl group on lysine residues of the N-terminus of the core histones H2A, H2B, H3, and H4. HDAC1 is a component of multiple deacetylating complexes such as Sin3, NuRD, and CoRest that function to repress gene transcription.
