Background

BTN3A3 belongs to the BTN3 subfamily of the butyrophilin (BTN) family. BTN genes are MHC-associated and code for membrane proteins. BTN3A1, BTN3A2 and BTN3A3 exhibit very high homology, but only BTN3A1 and BTN3A3 have an intracellular B30.2 (SPRY) domain in addition to the two extracellular Ig domains. BTN3 (CD277) molecules are found on various immune cells.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Peptides and proteins are guaranteed for 3 months from date of receipt.

Molarity Calculator

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
