IHC image of LRP1 staining in Human normal placenta formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section, performed on a Leica BondTM system using the standard protocol F. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with EDTA buffer (pH9, epitope retrieval solution 2) for 20 mins. The section was then incubated with ab28320, 10µg/ml, for 15 mins at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.For other IHC staining systems (automated and non-automated) customers should optimize variable parameters such as antigen retrieval conditions, primary antibody concentration and antibody incubation times.

ab28320 at 1/100 staining human HUVEC cells by ICC/IF. The cells were methanol fixed and blocked with BSA prior to incuabtion with the antibody for 1 hour. A FITC conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG antibody was used as the secondary. See Abreview

ICC/IF image of LRP1 staining in rat mixed glia culture using ab28320 (1:500). The cells were fixed uisng paraformaldehyde and permeabilised using 0.3% TritonX in 0.1%PBS. The cells were then blocked using 10% donkey serum for 1 hour at 24°C. the Cells were then inubated with ab23020 for 4 hours at 24°C.
