ab11220 staining Plectin (red) in Rat tibialis anterior muscle tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-Fr - frozen sections). Tissue was fixed with 3% paraformaldehyde, 0.1% phosphate buffer, pH 7.4 for 1 hour at 4°C, cyroprotected with 0.7M sucrose, and frozen in liquid nitrogen-cooled isopentane. Cryostat 10µm-thick sections were incubated with primary antibody (2-5µg/ml). Top - plectin staining, Bottom - Merge of Ankyrins-G (green) and plectin (red) staining. Bar, 20µm.
IHC-F using ab11220. Plectin was localized distinctly close to basal lamina in Human mucosal epithelium. Review by Marko Nykanen submitted 21 August 2004.
