Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of human prostate carcinoma tissue labelling SMC6L1 with ab18039 at 1/1000 (1µg/ml). Detection: DAB.
ab18039 (1/200) staining SMC6L in HeLa cells (green). Cells were fixed in methanol, permeabilised with 0.5% Triton X100/PBS and counterstained with DAPI in order to highlight the nucleus (red). Please refer to abreview for further experimental details.See Abreview
IHC image of ab18039 staining in human normal tonsil formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section, performed on a Leica BondTM system using the standard protocol F. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with EDTA (pH9, epitope retrieval solution 2) for 20 mins. The section was then incubated with ab18039, 5µg/ml, for 15 mins at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.For other IHC staining systems (automated and non-automated) customers should optimize variable parameters such as antigen retrieval conditions, primary antibody concentration and antibody incubation times.
