Description Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Kinase 3 Human Recombinant protein. Dual specificity mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 3 (MAP2K3) is a dual specificity protein kinase which is a member of the MAP kinase kinase family. MAP2K3 is activated by mitogenic and environmental stress, and participates in the MAP kinase-mediated signaling cascade. MAP2K3 phosphorylates and consequently activates MAPK14/p38-MAPK. The MAP2K3 kinase can be activated by insulin, and is essential for the expression of glucose transporter.
